The Diocese of Syracuse is committed to providing pastoral and spiritual support to individuals who have experienced sexual misconduct— whether past or present—by a member of the clergy or religious order, a diocesan or parish employee, volunteer, or liturgical minister. This support extends to the individual’s immediate family members and affected faith communities.
The Diocese has designated a Victim Assistance Coordinator to receive and respond to all reports of child sexual abuse. The Coordinator ensures that individuals are promptly informed of their rights and obligations and facilitates timely, appropriate pastoral and spiritual care. This role also includes assisting with the process of reimbursement for mental health and spiritual counseling in accordance with diocesan procedures.
For assistance, please contact the Diocesan Assistance Coordinator at 315.470.1465.
