Child Abuse Prevention Month

The Diocese of Syracuse remains firmly dedicated to protecting children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and maintaining strong safeguards through awareness, accountability, and required mandatory child sexual abuse prevention training for clergy, members of religious orders, employees, volunteers, and liturgical ministers, working to ensure safe environments throughout our diocese.

We also recognize and thank those who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe. Together, we renew our commitment to prevention, to walking with victims and survivors, and to ensuring that every child, young person, and vulnerable adult is safe, valued, and loved.
