Compliance Officer

No priest with a credible case of sexual abuse of a minor is in public ministry in the Diocese of Syracuse.

A compliance officer supervises those clergy with a credible allegation of child sexual abuse who have been removed from active ministry.  The compliance officer is a layperson with a law enforcement background.
